Matchup plan

No need for Lethal Tempo this patch; item attack speed is sufficient. The three-hit damage amp is better. Current patch crit items (Kraken Slayer, Phantom Dancer, Infinity Edge) are buffed, giving Ashe fast damage and snowball potential. Against multiple melee divers, Runaan's Hurricane is better than Phantom Dancer. Build Bloodthirster, Black Cleaver, and Infinity Edge; Bloodthirster's shield and Black Cleaver's HP boost survivability by 700–800 HP compared to normal ADCs.

How a strong Nautilus player plays

  1. 1

    Hook from Brush

Nautilus will use brush to hide and Q you while you last-hit, then follow up with E.

  2. 2

    Ult to Force Flash

Nautilus holds his R until you misposition; once hit, he ults and the jungler kills you.

  3. 3

    Poke While Last-Hitting

Nautilus uses E to chip you during your last-hit animation, then Qs when you're low.
