Tristana vs Jinx · Bot lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Tristana has high burst with her jump, Jinx has no mobility so she's easy to kill. Avoid her minigun-to-rocket swap poke to easily dominate.

How a strong Jinx player plays

  1. 1

    Minigun-to-Rocket Poke

Good Jinx players frequently swap Q between minigun and rocket form, poking you with rockets while you CS to lower your HP.

  2. 2

    W Slow to Disengage

When you jump on her, she predicts your landing and uses W to slow you, allowing her support to counter or to create distance.

  3. 3

    E Traps to Block Path

When you W onto her, she places E traps at your feet or on your escape route, limiting your movement and chase.
