Matchup plan

For the lethality build, always buy Tear of the Goddess on your first back to ensure mana sustain. After completing it, laning becomes much easier, allowing you to spam abilities for poke. Don't build Guinsoo's Rageblade; it stacks slowly and has low teamfight value. Better to go Statikk Shiv or Nashor's Tooth.

Jinx pushes faster in the early game, so she has lane priority. You have to play safe, farm, and poke without forcing fights.

How a strong Jinx player plays

  1. 1

    Level 1 Push Pressure

Jinx pushes faster than you at level 1. After gaining lane priority, she pressures you under tower and pokes with her support.

  2. 2

    W Poke and Trade

When you go for a last hit, Jinx will use W to slow you from a distance, then follow up with Q in rocket form for free damage, winning the trade.

  3. 3

    E Zone Control

When you're pushed under tower, Jinx will drop E at your feet to zone you and set up a dive with her jungler.
