If the enemy team is all squishy, take Thunderlord's Decree for early burst. Secondary: Magical Footwear and Approach Velocity. Approach Velocity works well with W slow for chasing and escaping. Bruiser build is not good against him. On first back, if you have 1337 gold, buy Caulfield's Warhammer; if 1000, buy Pickaxe. Don't force a Long Sword to delay your powerspike.

How a strong Master Yi player plays

    E for Trading

    Master Yi's E makes a sound and lasts 5 seconds. He will use it to trade when you last hit. Without E, his damage and attack speed are low.

  2. 2

    Q to Dodge E+Q

    He will use Q to dodge your E+Q. Wait for him to use Q after you throw the flag, or use E+Q when he has no vision.

  3. 3

    W to Bait Skills

    When low health, he uses W (Meditate) to bait your abilities, then flashes away or waits for teammates.
