Matchup plan

Use the Sixth Sense rune to detect if you are visible to the enemy, and plan pathing to avoid vision. If the enemy team has many tanks and you have good DPS uptime, take Red pet + Kraken Slayer for max damage; if there are assassins or long-range threats to your DPS, take Green pet + Trinity Force for max survivability.

01

Core game plan

Nidalee invades aggressively after level 3, putting Kindred under heavy early defensive pressure. If mid lane lacks priority, it's even harder; you have to play safe.

How a strong Nidalee player plays

  1. 1

    Javelin Poke

Nidalee will frequently poke you with her Q javelin. Dodge it; if hit, her cougar form follow-up deals heavy damage.

  2. 2

    Trap Denial

Nidalee places W traps at key junctions. Stepping on one reveals vision and marks you. Avoid or clear them.

  3. 3

    Level 3 Invade

Nidalee starts E, clears Raptors → Gromp → Red, then uses high mobility to invade your jungle at level 3. Defend in advance.
