Matchup plan

Take scaling magic resist runes for better late-game value; alternatively, take full flat armor to reduce jungle damage and synergize with passive for bonus AD. In masteries, go Defense tree: take Reflection for faster jungle clear, Veteran's Scars and Juggernaut for bonus HP, then Unyielding and Block to reduce incoming damage. In Utility tree, take Summoner's Insight and Intelligence to reduce Flash cooldown, and Wanderer for increased mobility. Start with Spirit Stone and Boots of Mobility to improve jungle clear and roaming speed. Late game core items include Spirit of the Ancient Golem, Homeguard Boots, Runic Bulwark, Randuin's Omen, Locket of the Iron Solari or Sunfire Cape, and Banshee's Veil or Thornmail to boost both armor and magic resist for the team.

Rammus vs Teemo · Jungle matchup

01

Core game plan

Rammus has low early damage, and Teemo's mushrooms and blind make ganks difficult. In teamfights, Rammus struggles to be effective. Against a similarly skilled Teemo, it's a tough matchup.

How a strong Teemo player plays

  1. 1

    Mushroom Blockade

Teemo places mushrooms at key paths and bushes. When you charge with Q, you may step on a mushroom and get slowed, greatly reducing gank success.

  2. 2

    Blind Counter

After you taunt Teemo up close, he immediately blinds you with Q, causing your auto-attacks and W reflect damage to miss, making trades unfavorable.

  3. 3

    Speed Kiting

Teemo uses W to speed up and create distance. After your Q charge is slowed or blinded, it's hard to catch him, and you'll get kited easily.
