Cassiopeia vs Galio · Mid lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Galio has reliable crowd control to set up ganks for his jungler. Cassiopeia lacks mobility and is easy to gank. After Imperial Mandate, his burst is too high, so you have to play safe.

How a strong Galio player plays

  1. 1

    E into W taunt

Galio will use E to collide with you when you use E to poke, then W taunt, setting up a kill with his jungler. Don't give him that chance.

  2. 2

    Ghost roam after wave clear

After clearing the wave, Galio may use Ghost to quickly roam to side lanes. Push the wave or ping accordingly.

  3. 3

    Instant W short duration

Galio's instant W has a very short duration. If he fails to taunt you, you can trade back.
