Hwei has long range to easily suppress Malphite. Before level 6, trading is profitable. Malphite is useless if he can't land Q. Just be careful of his level 6 ultimate.

How a strong Malphite player plays

  1. 1

    Q Harass Trade

    Malphite will poke with Q. Hit him three times to make him pay. When he misses Q, go in to harass.

    Level 6 All-in

    After 6, Malphite can one-shot you with ult and Ignite. Suppress his HP before 6.

  3. 3

    E Root Combo

    When Malphite is near minions, he will use E to root you, then combo. Avoid getting rooted.
