Matchup plan

Taste of Blood rune heals about 20 HP per trade, enabling healthy trades. Cheap Shot rune requires E to slow the enemy first then auto-attack to trigger; direct E hit does not proc it. Against Twisted Fate, choose Comet rune and Mercury's Treads for safe trades and reduced CC risk. Both Comet and Electrocute are viable, depending on playstyle. Hwei should build Torch instead of Rocketbelt, and get Mercury's Treads. Early priority: Lost Chapter before considering Rocketbelt. When Twisted Fate builds movement speed items, Hwei should not build Rocketbelt as it's already disadvantageous. With Electrocute, build Horizon Focus for ability haste.

Rune variants

  • 带血之滋味符文可以在换血时回复约20生命值，实现无伤换血。恶意中伤符文需要先用对位E技能减速敌人再普攻才能触发，直接对位E技能命中不会触发。
  • 对线卡牌时选择彗星符文和水银鞋，可以稳定换血并减少被控制的风险。彗星和电刑均可选择，取决于对线风格。

Item variants

  • 卡牌出移速装备时，彗不宜出推推棒，因为已经劣势。带电刑时出世界专注增加技能急速。

How a strong Twisted Fate player plays

  1. 1

    Pick a Card, then Trade

    A skilled Twisted Fate will wait for you to use E before stunning you with a Gold Card. Hold your E until he picks a card, then step forward.

  2. 2

    Auto-Attack Poke Up Close

    Twisted Fate will walk right up to you and auto-attack to poke, using his E passive for bonus damage. Keep your distance to avoid being in melee range.

  3. 3

    Red Card Push and Roam

    Twisted Fate will use Red Card to quickly clear the wave, then ult to roam to a side lane. Secure lane priority early to suppress him and prevent roams.
