Against Viktor, Electrocute procs extra damage in aggressive trades, but you risk reduced pressure; if he takes Aery, his pressure is stronger. Hold Electrocute and don't proc it easily; wait for a kill opportunity to burst. Taking Electrocute and Hextech Rocketbelt reduces pressure against Viktor and makes laning easier. After completing Rocketbelt, Viktor at full HP enters kill range. Against Viktor, Mercury's Treads effectively counter his crowd control.

    Level 1 Q ranged poke

    Viktor takes Q level 1, using its long range to poke you, avoiding taking E so you can't Q-auto trade.

    E procs Storm Surge

    Viktor uses E to proc Storm Surge, chunking you for half HP, thus pressuring your CS.

    W hits then follow-up burst

    If Viktor's W hits you, he can follow up with other abilities to kill you, provided he dodges your E.
