How a strong Jayce player plays

  1. 1

    Cannon Q Poke

Good Jayce players will frequently poke you with cannon Q, exploiting your hesitation to throw Q, then switching to hammer Q to trade.

  2. 2

    Half-HP Kill Threshold

With Ignite, you are killable at half HP. Jayce will bait you by pretending to misposition, then E-A-Q-A-Ignite to finish you.

  3. 3

    TP Landing Prediction

When Jayce teleports back to lane, good players will predict your Q timing, pre-positioning or counter-attacking to get a free trade.
