Matchup plan

Build path: Sorcerer's Shoes, Shadowflame, Rabadon's Deathcap. Compared to Luden's + Horizon Focus, this deals more damage and is cheaper, accelerating your power spike.

Lux vs Talon · Mid lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Talon's kill pressure is weak without Ignite. Lux has long range to poke consistently. As long as you position well, you can easily gain a health advantage.

How a strong Talon player plays

  1. 1

    W Poke and Kite

High-level Talon players will use W to poke you while you last hit, staying at max range to avoid your E, making it hard to retaliate.

  2. 2

    Q Gap Close

He will look for opportunities to Q a minion or you to get in melee range, then combo with W second hit and passive for burst. Keep your distance.

  3. 3

    W Clear and Roam

Talon uses W to quickly clear the wave and then roams even if low health, exploiting vision gaps while you push.
