Orianna vs Yasuo · Mid lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Orianna can pressure Yasuo in lane. Keep distance and break his shield. After he uses Wind Wall, you can trade freely. Freeze the wave near your tower to make him struggle.

How a strong Yasuo player plays

  1. 1

    Sweeping Blade Harass

High-level Yasuo players will use Sweeping Blade on minions to gap close, auto-attack you, then E back to a minion, making it hard to retaliate.

  2. 2

    Wind Wall Blocks Skills

He will use Wind Wall to block your Command: Attack and Command: Dissonance, then dash in to trade.

  3. 3

    Tornado Zone Control

After stacking his tornado, he will intentionally use Steel Tempest to clear minions and push the wave while zoning you, looking for an opportunity to knock you up and follow with Last Breath.
