Consider taking Magical Footwear instead of Perfect Timing. The movement speed from Magical Footwear helps you dodge Sylas's E, while Perfect Timing has limited use in early laning. Prioritize Liandry's Anguish and Seraph's Embrace, this combo works best. Specific order: Liandry's Anguish, Sorcerer's Shoes, then directly build Oblivion Orb (800g), then Void Staff and Rabadon's Deathcap. Don't build Morellonomicon or Boots of Swiftness; Morellonomicon is inefficient and Boots of Swiftness won't stop Sylas's engage.

    Sylas starts W and baits your Q by moving; if you waste Q, he feels comfortable. Don't throw Q easily.

    Push and roam
