At level 1, enter the jungle to find Mel's position, poke with Electrocute, and place wards. After level 3, look for a flash-W-ignite-Q all-in when she's low. After level 6, use your ultimate to roam or secure kills.Mid-game, roam to side lanes to snowball. In teamfights, watch Mel's position and interrupt her with fear.

How a strong Mel player plays

  1. 1

    Q Poke Harass

Mel will constantly poke you with her long-range Q, which is almost unavoidable and hard to dodge, draining your HP endlessly.

  2. 2

    W Reflects E

After you cast E, she can instantly reflect it with her W, guaranteeing you get feared with no chance to dodge; you must predict her W timing.

  3. 3

    W Cooldown Pressure

Her W has about a 30-second cooldown, longer than your skills, but the window is only 8 seconds. She'll poke you with Q, making it hard for you to profit after trades.
