Karma has long range and a shield. Lucian is a sitting duck without his abilities. Poking from the brush allows for safe trades. After level 6, it's easier to kill him.

How a strong Lucian player plays

    Step forward after his abilities

    After Lucian uses Q or E, step forward, auto-attack then Q to trade. He can't retaliate, each wave you chunk half his HP.

    Use brush to kite

    Auto from brush, then immediately step back into brush to dodge skills, then step out for another auto, safe trading. Stand at brush edge to dodge his Q.

  3. 3

    Punish his last hits

    Watch minion HP, when he goes for a last hit, throw E then back off, while using brush vision to poke with Q. Watch minion HP to avoid bad trades.
