Consider Phase Rush instead of Conqueror for higher safety; even if Darius pulls you, Phase Rush's slow resistance lets you disengage safely. When low HP, use Last Stand rune to increase damage; combined with ult lifesteal, you can kill a fully stacked Darius. Always buy boots first. Even if Darius also buys boots, your base movement speed is higher, allowing better kiting. Consider Plated Steelcaps to reduce Darius's physical damage and increase lane safety.

How a strong Darius player plays

    Outer Ring Poke

    Darius will poke you with his Q outer ring. Watch your positioning to dodge the outer ring, or use E to go inside and reduce damage.

    E Pull into All-in

    Darius will wait for you to use E or W, then pop Ghost and pull you for an all-in. Watch your cooldowns.

  3. 3

    AA+W Start to Stack Bleed

    When bush camping at level 1, Darius will start with AA+W. Place a ward at the start to avoid being caught.
