Matchup plan

Take Teleport and Ignite to enhance early trading and kill potential. After Sheen, if Jax has E, don't use E; poke mainly with W and Q. You can walk up and Q Jax; he fears the second Q proc and won't trade even if he stuns you. Only then do you have dueling power.

Camille vs Jax · Top lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Jax's E can interrupt Camille's E, making early trades unfavorable. You need to wait for Divine Sunderer to have a chance. It's tough against a same-skill opponent.

How a strong Jax player plays

  1. 1

    Pre-activate E, Q, then deactivate E

Jax will pre-activate E, Q onto you, then deactivate E to interrupt your E. Don't use E while his E is active.

  2. 2

    Q onto you, step forward

After Jax Q's onto you, he steps forward to prevent your E from gaining distance to stun. Don't E immediately after being Q'd.

  3. 3

Stun minions with E to avoid damage

When Jax stuns minions with E, they don't attack him, so he takes no minion damage during trades. Avoid fighting in minion waves.
