Recommended Doran's Blade start, learn Crippling Strike at level 1, take Bone Plating and Unflinching runes for an aggressive, high-risk high-reward playstyle. Alternatively, Doran's Shield start, learn Decimate at level 1 to push wave.

How a strong Sett player plays

    Start with Decimate, save Facebreaker for guaranteed combo

    When trading against Sett, start with Decimate and save Facebreaker for the guaranteed Facebreaker-Haymaker combo; do not use Facebreaker first.

    Kite the right punch for trades

    When trading, kite Sett's right punch start to leverage damage advantage; if he starts with left punch, you can auto first and kite.

    Level 2 all-in for kill

    Level 2 is Sett's power spike; he will try to all-in you with Facebreaker pull, Ignite, Flash, auto, right punch, Facebreaker, Haymaker combo to secure a kill.
