Place Barrel to Lure You into Auto-Attacking
A skilled Gangplank will place a barrel, pretend to make a mistake, and wait for you to auto-attack it, then use Q to detonate it and poke you, or use the stun from your auto-attack to land a double barrel combo.

Q to Last Hit and Harass
He will use Q to last hit minions while also poking you, especially when you go for a cannon minion, taking the chance to land a Q+E combo for a trade.

Double Barrel to Pressure Health
A proficient Gangplank will position to land a double barrel combo on you, and if it hits, it can chunk you heavily, forcing you to recall or use your summoner spells.
