Take Phase Rush and Transcendence; start Doran's Blade. If you struggle with positioning, you can take Doran's Shield. Rush Stridebreaker first; do not build lifesteal items early. Second item always build Serpent's Fang to counter his shield. If Mordekaiser builds Rylai's, buy Boots of Swiftness instead of Berserker's Greaves.

How a strong Mordekaiser player plays

    Q poke

    Mordekaiser will poke you with Q from range; use W to block isolated Qs to avoid free damage.

    E pull

    Mordekaiser will wait for you to retreat, then pull you back with E and ult to trap you.

  3. 3

    Post-5 ult kill

    After level 5, Mordekaiser will ult you when you're at half HP, then auto-attack and weave spells; keep your HP high.
