Jax vs Nasus · Top lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Jax can trade without taking damage early to suppress Nasus. As long as you don't let him get his mid-game items, this matchup is easy.

How a strong Nasus player plays

  1. 1

    Doran's Ring E poke

Nasus will start Doran's Ring and max E, constantly poking you with E and sustaining with his passive.

  2. 2

    Wither shuts down damage

Nasus's Wither significantly reduces your attack speed and movement speed, preventing you from dealing effective damage.

  3. 3

    Bait E then ult all-in

Nasus will pretend to be weak to bait your E, then ult and Wither to turn on you. Be careful not to waste your E.
