Matchup plan

Take Phase Rush: Q-A-W procs it, and its cooldown is very short. Basically whenever E is up, Phase Rush is ready, great for trading and chasing. You can play aggressively early because item scaling compensates for the disadvantage.

How a strong Vayne player plays

  1. 1

    Q poke

Vayne will use Q to reposition and auto-attack you. Watch for her Q timing and you can trade back.

  2. 2

    E to peel

When you get close, Vayne will immediately use E to push you away. Don't panic; after she uses E, your next Q will be up and you can pressure her.
