Jayce vs Tryndamere · Top lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Jayce has range advantage to poke Tryndamere. A Tryndamere without fury is a toy. Freeze the wave and wait for the jungler to gank; crush him before level 6.

How a strong Tryndamere player plays

  1. 1

    Trade with Fury

Tryndamere will stack his Fury before fighting you. When he has no Fury, he won't dare to all-in. Use this to poke him down.

  2. 2

    E to Engage

Tryndamere will use his E to gap close and combo you. If you have Bone Plating, he might bait it out first. Keep your distance.

  3. 3

    Ult to Survive and Turn

Tryndamere will pop his ult at low HP to tank your burst, then turn on you. Don't blow your load early; wait for his ult to end before finishing him.
