    E to Block Q Poke

    Riven can block your main Q damage with her E at level 1, and their cooldowns are similar, making it hard for you to win trades.

    Three Qs to Close Gap

    Riven uses her three Qs to quickly close the gap. Your Q's movement speed steal isn't enough to kite, allowing her to get in melee range and combo you.

    Bait Skills Then Counter

    Good Riven players will bait your Q, then use E to block it and counter-attack with a full combo.
