Matchup plan

Summoner spells: Flash and Teleport. Ghost is less valuable when pressured early; Teleport ensures tower farming and lane return. First item priority: Warden's Mail (or Despair's Armor) to survive Sett's burst. Even if behind in gold, after level 6 you can win through stats. If short on gold early, buy two Cloth Armors for 76 armor, more practical than Sheen. If enemy has heavy magic damage and you have enough MR, normally Randuin's Omen is better.

Nasus vs Sett · Top lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Sett has high burst early, so Nasus has to play safe and farm, only becoming easier after buying Warden's Mail; otherwise, he risks getting crushed.

How a strong Sett player plays

  1. 1

    Bait E, Trade

After learning E at level 2, Sett will bait your E with movement, then trade during your cooldown.

  2. 2

    Don't Fight Full Grit

When his white bar is full, his W deals max damage and gives a big shield; he'll wait for you to engage, then counter.

  3. 3

    E Start, W Slow

If Sett uses E, immediately slow him with W, ult and chase, sidestep his W to secure a kill.
