Jax often builds Iceborn Gauntlet or Blade of the Ruined King. Watch for his E block, poke with Q and W. After 6, use your ultimate to cleanse and all-in.

Olaf vs Jax · Top lane matchup

01

Core game plan

At level 1, trade freely when Jax's Counter Strike is on cooldown. Dodge his E and chase him down—he can't fight back.

At level 1, trade when Jax's E (17s CD) is down. After he uses it, you can fight freely.

At the start, while his E is down, walk past the wave to zone him. Throw Q and go melee to pick up your axe, using slow and speed to kite.
