Matchup plan

Consider taking Hail of Blades for quick three-hit burst in early trades. Combined with E into W, Yasuo can't handle it. Build Warden's Mail early; Yasuo can't damage you, so he won't dare to trade.

How a strong Yasuo player plays

  1. 1

    Dodge W with E

Yasuo will use his E to dodge your W. Don't use W recklessly; wait until he finishes dashing.

  2. 2

    Pressure with Tornado

When Yasuo has tornado, you can't fight. He will use it to force your movement or interrupt your combo.

  3. 3

Dash in, Stack Q, then Dash Out

Yasuo will dash to you, Q to stack tornado, then dash away through minions. Don't let him poke for free; wait until he finishes dashing, then use E on him.
