Urgot vs Vayne · Top lane matchup

01

Core game plan

Urgot has an advantage against Vayne. He can poke with Q and she has no sustain. After level 6, his execute threshold is high. If she uses E, you can flip her back for a guaranteed kill.

How a strong Vayne player plays

  1. 1

    Brush Pressure

If she starts in the brush, walk in and she'll auto you, forcing you to use ward. Then she controls lower brush vision and you struggle to farm.

  2. 2

    Bait E Then Flip

After she Qs onto you, auto once first. Wait for her to use E or Flash, then use E-Flash to flip her back and R execute. Don't rush E.

  3. 3

    Ghost Flash Kill

When she pops Ghost, she'll Flash onto you. Predict and E flip back. Without summoners, she can't out-trade you if she starts with R.
