Matchup plan

If Jayce takes Ignite with Electrocute or Conqueror, Vladimir should take Electrocute and Ignite. Don't take Phase Rush, or you'll get bullied so hard at level 1 that you can't even soak XP.

How a strong Jayce player plays

  1. 1

    Cannon Form Poke

Good Jayce players will frequently poke you with Cannon Form Q, sneaking in damage while you last hit, then look for an all-in when your HP is low.

  2. 2

    Hammer Form E Interrupt

When you use Q to heal, he will switch to Hammer Form and use E to interrupt your heal, making you lose the trade.

  3. 3

    Form Switching Kiting

He uses R to switch forms for speed and kiting: if you chase, he kites in Cannon Form; if you retreat, he jumps on you in Hammer Form.
