Yasuo vs Jax · Top lane matchup

How a strong Jax player plays

  1. 1

    Counter his E

Jax will use his E to block your autos and Q, then stun you for a trade. Wait for him to use E before going in.

  2. 2

    Punish his Q jump

He will Q onto you then W for a combo. After he Qs, his E is still on cooldown, so you can turn and fight back.

  3. 3

    Hybrid burst

Jax may build Trinity Force into Riftmaker, making it hard to itemize against both damage types. Watch out for his QRW burst combo.
